Dollars & Sense
For three decades, students at Baruch College wrote, edited and designed Dollars & Sense, a national-award-winning magazine of business and social coverage. The magazine was distributed to students, faculty, corporate leaders and media professionals in the New York region and is published on-line. For the 2009-10 academic year, Dollars & Sense is reinventing itself as a Web-based, multimedia publication. The first articles appeared in late October.
Dollars & Sense is a highly educational experience for students. Recent issues have won Gold and Silver Crown Awards from the Columbia Scholastic Press Association and have been honored by the Society of Professional Journalists.
