Individual Counseling

The counselors are the heart of the SEEK Program and have made it the success it is today.

Upon acceptance to Baruch, each SEEK student is assigned an experienced counselor to assist him or her in handling the academic and emotional demands of college life.

They will assist you as you:

  • Choose your courses.
  • Register for classes.
  • Select a major.
  • Deal with any personal issue that may arise.

Throughout their academic career, SEEK students continue to develop their relationship with their counselors.  While other students may have professors to serve as mentors, they rarely have one individual who is part of their lives as they mature from entering freshmen to graduating seniors.

Workshops and Enrichment

At SEEK, we recognize that students need more than academic coaching; therefore, as a supplement to individual counseling, we run a number of workshops on personal growth.
