Baruch Performing Arts Center (BPAC) rents the following performance spaces to outside parties. These spaces are : Engelman Recital Hall, Nagelberg Theatre, Bernie West Theatre, Mason Hall, and the BPAC Lounge.

At the BPAC you will find:

• A friendly and helpful staff.
• Marketing support through our online events calendar listings, college wide email blasts, and a full service box office (Please note that BPAC's box offie is serviced by theatremania.com.

All spaces have a base rental amount, which includes front of house staff, box office staff, lights and sound inventory, the space, and a facilities liason for the duration of the run.

Additional costs include:

• Technical Labor and crew cost
• Security (if deemed necessary), all rentals require a deposit and the balance is due prior to the event. The College also requires a minimum $2 million dollar certificate of liability for every event held on campus.

The Engelman Recital Hall

The Engelman Recital Hall is a beautifully appointed classic recital hall with 174 seats and intimate, raked seating. The hall houses a Steinway Concert Grand piano, which can be used as part of the rental. The stage is 23' x 14' with a blond hardwood floor. A Strand mini-board offers eight preset cues, and recording within the space is possible. With near-perfect acoustics, it is a true gem.

The Nagelberg Theatre is a state-of-the-art black box theatre, with flexible seating that can be configured into four different set-ups, with varying capacities and playing space. Additional seating may be obtained by using the gallery level. The maximum capacity is 220. The floor is an oak hardwood, finished in satin black paint. The theatre is equipped with a wire-tension lighting grid that allows for ease of focusing and movement of instruments and an advanced audio system.

The Nagelberg is the most heavily booked space in the BPAC, so plan early.

The Bernie West Theatre is located on the 9th Floor of the 17 Lexington building. A classic black box style with black walls and a deck finished in satin black it is a warm and intimate space. Seating is end stage style that accommodates a maximum of 74. The approximate playing space is 21x 30 with a ceiling height of 10'.
