Are you a new (1st Semester) Student?

What is new student Orientation?

In order to help you make a smooth transition into the College, we provide all incoming students a 2-part orientation to the College.  Prospective students must return their Admission Response Form to the College indicating that they will be attending Baruch College. All incoming students are then invited to attend a brief on-site advisement and registration orientation, "Making the Baruch Connection." (Required for all incoming freshmen).

Overview

You do not have to bring anything with you to Orientation. We will provide all the materials you need for orientation and advisement when you come.

At the check-in table a student leader will hand you any materials, you will need to refer to throughout the orientation and afterward. We will also hand you an Undergraduate Bulletin and a Schedule of Classes.

We want every one of you to succeed. Get your Baruch career started on the right path by Making the Baruch Connection. We look forward to meeting you.

Reservations

Once Baruch College has admitted you, we will send you an invitation to attend one of the Orientation dates. We do not accept walk-ins at the door. If we do not have a reservation for you, we cannot advise you that day. Furthermore, when you come to Orientation, we require that you stay for the entire program. (Sorry, no guests allowed because of limited space.)

If you have already received an Orientation reservation by mail or by telephone, you do not need to do it online. If you do not have an e-mail address you may call (646) 312-4273 and do not fill out this form.

To request a reservation for Orientation online please fill out the appropriate "reservation" forms listed in the "Announcements" section on the advisement center home page. (Freshmen or Transfer)
